Camera That Follows You

The world’s first throw-and-shoot camera or call it a selfie-drone if you may has been developed by Lily. All you have to do is throw it in the air to start shooting. It flies itself and uses GPS and computer vision and follows you around. The Lily Camera is waterproof, ultra-compact, and shoots HD pictures and videos.



Lily Camera is portable and weighs less than your average laptop however, it has one major drawback – the batteries cannot be removed!

The camera is designed to be used as a stand-alone camera and optimized for aerial footage. Moreover the camera is waterproof and can shoot/film one meter underwater including in the seas.

Currently on preorder at around $799 (excluding taxes & shipping), the camera comes with a tracking device in its wrist waterproof case, a brick charger, a micro USB cable, and a user manual.

Available in one color midnight black, the camera tracks the tracking device and uses computer vision to optically follow the wearer. It is capable of a max speed of 25 mph/40 km/ and flies at a distance of about five feet from the user and can film from a distance of 100 meters. In terms of altitude, the camera can fly five feet above head level up to a maximum of 50 feet.
