Eberhard & Co, fine Swiss watchmakers with the classic touch, have been known for telling the time in distinctive fashion across all walks of life, The Swiss maison has now pulled out the stops in an extravagant tribute to Italian automotive giants, Alfa Romeo. With the new ‘Quadrifoglio Verde’ chronograph, Eberhard & Co. salutes the high-powered premium auto brand, an icon of performance and style with the Alfa Romeo Limited Edition timepoece.

This watch embodies the all the technical prowess and style which, for generations, have characterized the products from these two centers of innovation and excellence, based on tradition.

Proudly showing off a 43mm diameter steel case, the “Quadrifoglio Verde” chronograph is powered by an automatic movement which drives three counters. The small seconds’ catches the eye first: its reading is given by a hand shaped as the clover emblem.

The tachymeter scale surrounding the deep black dial, inspired by the readability of Alfa Romeo Limited Edition’s dashboard instruments, neatly combines all the tradition of Eberhard & Co.’s chronographs with an automotive imprint. The satin-finished bezel and buttons contribute to the stylish balance of the case, which appears sporting and elegant in equal measure. This limited edition consists of just 250 pieces and will be on sale exclusively at Eberhard & Co.’s authorized dealers worldwide.

Since 1887 the Swiss brand has been synonymous with excellence and innovation, which are represented in precious timepieces with high technical content that have marked important stages: the pocket chronograph, the first wrist chronograph, right up to dual time watches. Eberhard & Co. recently inaugurated its very own museum in the Historic La Chaux-De-Fonds building where it all began built by founder of the company Georges-Lucien Eberhard in the early 20th century, the famous maison de l’aigle (the house of the eagle) which now houses the collection representing the cultural heritage of the brand. The memorable inauguration ceremony has seen the eagle symbolically returned to the top of the cupola.
