Peugeot’s innovative electrically assisted eF01 folding bicycle expands the “last kilometer” range of mobility products launched with the e-Kick electrically assisted scooter. The eF01 is easy to fold, making multimodal travel a breeze. It is now available starting at €1999.
The eF01 electrically assisted folding bicycle is now available at Peugeot and Cycleurope points of sale. Subsidies from the French government and local authorities are available to those who purchase an e-bike. The eF01 rounds out Peugeot’s range of electrically assisted bicycles for all uses.
The eF01 offers an easy, smooth and active user experience. Plus, it’s eco-friendly. After parking your car, just unfold the bike and you’re ready to take on those last kilometers. Folding and unfolding the bike in less than ten seconds is mere child’s play: riders simply have to perform three steps in any order to alternate between riding, walking and taking the train or metro. The innovative and patented folding mechanism was designed by Peugeot Design Lab.
Compact and reliable, the eF01 weighs 18 kg and can reach 20 km/h. It has a lithium-ion battery for a range of up to 30 km. Disk brakes on the front and rear wheels ensure optimum performance and safety.
The eF01 can be stored and charged in the boot of any vehicle that has a 12-volt outlet. The battery plugs into the vehicle’s Dockstation and charges in about two hours when the vehicle is running.
