The Helmet Collection, inspired by bold motifs of motorcycling helmets, celebrates the connection between Meccaniche Veloci and the world of two-wheeled racing. Following a partnership with Suomy, the Italian leader in super sport motorcycle helmets, Meccaniche Veloci launches a new collection of limited edition watches with dials featuring the most famous Suomy helmets graphics. This exclusive project gives the new range of watches the boldness of the helmets graphics.
Meccaniche Veloci has based its watches on Suomy’s four bestselling and representative designs including illustrations of pin-up girls, skulls, flags, dice and playing cards.
The Helmet collection is produced in Limited Edition with each of the designs made in three different versions with only 250 copies available of each. These watches are masterpieces of design for real collectors.
Created in 1997, Suomy has gained a reputation for the quality, comfort, durability and design of its helmets. Producing some of the lightest helmets on the market, their lines are also known for their vibrant, cutting edge graphics. Many of their models are worn by professionals including MotoGP riders Loris Capirossi, James Toseland and Alvaro Bautista, as well as WSBK rider Max Biaggi and AMA Neil Hodgson.
This design is inspired by American motorbike icons, driven by the passion for speed and challenges on the road. The dials feature skulls and crossbones, the American flag and beautiful, seductive women; a world of stars and stripes that evokes the 1960’s Easy Rider culture of free spirits looking to evade conformity and cross limits.
