ULYSSE NARDIN SIGNS SVITOLINA

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Ulysse Nardin has signed up tennis star Elina Svitolina, the professional woman tennis player from Ukraine as an ambassador of the brand. The tennis sensation currently ranked 13th in the WTA visited the manufacture of the Swiss brand Ulysse Nardin recently.

Accompanied by Patrik Hoffmann, CEO of Ulysse Nardin, Elina Svitolina visited the workshops of the movement manufacture of the brand. She also participated in a photo shoot before a signing session with the employees of Ulysse Nardin.

Speaking about the signing Patrik Hoffmann said: “It is an honor for Ulysse Nardin to enter into a partnership with Elina. Ulysse Nardin’s history of navigating the sea paired with the DNA of innovation and precision makes this partnership a winning match. When meeting Elina, I quickly realized that the spirit of passion and precision is the driving force behind Elina’s extraordinary talents.”

Elina Svitolina chose an Ulysse Nardin Lady Marine Chronometer timepiece to wear on her wrist, ensuring that the precision time of the Haute Horlogerie watchmaker from Le Locle will accompany her for all her matches around the world.

In keeping with the evolved aesthetic of the Marine collection, the Lady Marine Chronometer timepiece embodies the true Ulysse Nardin DNA and commitment to exacting execution and unparalleled design.

Embodying a classic, understated elegance with a sporty essence, the timekeeper possesses the self-winding, in-house movement known for its silicium technology and incorporating the date corrector, allowing forwards and backwards adjustments. Its mother-of-pearl dial brings forth a delicate touch, as does its Roman numerals marking the hours.

Sensibly stylish, the Lady Marine Chronometer timepiece is a catalyst for great things to come in watchmaking for women who appreciate both the science and aesthetic behind the master craft.

Ulysse Nardin, a Swiss company, has been making high-quality, prestige timepieces since 1846. It has won over 4,300 awards, owns a large number of patents for mechanical watches, and employs more than 300 people at its Le Locle and La Chaux-de-Fonds sites in Switzerland. Ulysse Nardin is part of the Kering Group, a world leader in apparel and accessories which develops an ensemble of powerful luxury and sport & lifestyle brands.
