To celebrate the 25th anniversary of its founding, Franck Muller has chosen to introduce a special edition of an iconic model showcasing the brand’s creative boldness: the Cintree Curvex watch. Launched in the early 1990s, it laid a new milestone in contemporary history by introducing a tonneau-shaped case with an unprecedented curving architecture, creating a 3D effect typical of the Franck Muller style.
For this anniversary edition, the case sets the stage for the famous baroque-inspired numerals, another emblematic brand signature. They are first engraved into the gold case and then coated with ceramic before being reworked to reveal fascinating relief effects. The enamel dial also bearing these numerals bears a 25th anniversary logo, while a Manufacture-made movement sets the pace for this special edition.
In less than 20 years, the Franck Muller has gained worldwide renown characterized by spectacular growth, enviable financial soundness and the production of 40,000 watches per year. Today the brand has six production sites and more than 500 employees in Switzerland. Globally there are 48 exclusive shops and 600 points of sale in over 100 countries.
Its success and fame has been built on its exceptional collections: from the Crazy Hours or the Vegas models with fun complications, to the Aeternitas Mega – the most complicated wrist watch in the world with 36 complications and 1,483 components – as far as large complications are concerned. This last watch only reinforces the brand’s label as the Master of Complications.
