CLASSIC WORLDTIMER

Frederique Constant returns to its iconic Classic Worldtimer Manufacture with the presentation of this sophisticated citizen of the world. The golden tones of the case make a pleasing contrast with the chocolate color of the dial, which is finely etched with a world map and circled by a day/night indicator, with 24 reference cities around the outer rim.

The date is pointed by a hand in a sub-dial at 6 o’clock. A further circle of hour-markers ensures perfect legibility without detracting from the harmonious layout of the dial as a whole. This long-haul traveller packs some genuine feats of technique, orchestrated by Frederique Constant’s FC-718 proprietary movement. Not a single pusher or corrector spoils this watch’s clean lines, as each function is controlled by the crown for unparalleled simplicity of use. Indeed, this is a first for a world time complication.

The watch features a FC-718 caliber mechanical automatic movement developed and produced by Frederique Constant with a Côtes de Genève decoration, 42-hour power reserve and hours, minutes, seconds, date, world time for 24 time zones, day/night indication. The watch case is made of steel with pink gold PVD, and measures a diameter of 42 mm. The watch front is covered with a domed sapphire crystal and the watch is water-resistant to 50 meters. The watch dial is brown with a world map in the centre and features luminescent hands and hour-markers. It is fitted with a brown leather strap with white top-stitching.
