Mechanical Complexity

HYT – the hydro mechanical horologists released the H1 ICEBERG2 Blue in the symbolic color of water

at the recently concluded SIHH in Geneva last month. With a subtle hint of blue and multiple components in the same hue, as well as materials such as sapphire, beautify the mechanical complexity of this timepiece while highlighting pleasing contrasts – like a ray of sunshine hitting the tip of an iceberg.

The watchcase is made from titanium with a brushed – satin-finished surfaces and the diameter measures 48.8 mm featuring a blue rubber-clad screw-lock crown. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters with a retrograde blue fluid hours function and a mechanical hand-wound, exclusive HYT calibre movement with a 65-hour power reserve. The watch comes with a white rubber strap and a titanium deployant buckle and is also available in white calf leather with a white topstitching. This is a limited edition of 50 pieces and will be available in select stores as of March 2016.

HYT’s hydro mechanical horologists have turned fantasy into reality, mixing mechanics and liquid within a wristwatch. The brand is non-conformist and has broken away from the norms of traditional watch making.
