Mazzanti Automobili has announced the launch of the Evantra tailor-made supercar. A beast in bespoke clothing with a 751-hp, V8 mid-engine, the car is equipped with a six-speed sequential transmission or an automatic or semi-automatic option. Evantra is capable of reaching 0 to 60 mp/h (100 km/h) in less than three seconds and a top speed of 224 mp/h (over 360 km/h).
The company will limit production to five cars a year and each privileged owner will have the opportunity to personalize the car as per their unique requirements making this an ideal automobile for the discerning car lovers in the Arab region who opt for customization.
The Evantra philosophy puts the spotlight on driving pleasure, lightness, power and balance. The car weights 1300kg, and this weight is mostly concentrated in the center of the car; the 751hp give a true race car feeling through the impressive handling and responsiveness, concurrently making the car comfortable in the everyday use.
Every single component of Evantra is conceptualized, projected and realized in order to emphasize the sensations of the driver. The project and the assembly of every car are entirely conducted in Tuscany, the Italian region famous for its artistic masterpieces all over the world.
The car is totally handmade even though the pilot project needed thousands of working hours and was developed using the most updated technologies; CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulations, structural analysis, tensional rigidity simulation on materials and components.
The interiors of Evantra are also tailor-made fulfilling the client’s wishes with master craftsmen working on “all-natural leather” interiors refined with special aniline leather treatment that gives an incredible soft touch. The driver’s seating position is set up according to the size of the client, discussed and tested during a personal meeting in the Atelier.
The central console is equipped with a dash and data acquisition system from AIM and a Head unit also available with the last generation of touch-controls, infotainment system and Bluetooth connectivity.
The power of the Evantra V8 is transferred onto the tarmac thanks to special high-performance tires from Pirelli 255/30 R20 front and 325/25 R20 rear, mounted on special 20″ OZ alloy wheels. The braking system comes from Brembo, formed by 380mm discs with 6 piston calipers in the front and 360mm discs with 4 piston calipers is the back (carbon-ceramic system is optional).
