UAE’S Zarooq Motors will be launching the Zarooq Sandracer – the first street-legal car of its kind in the country designed to be a desert racer and handle the sand dunes and the highways with equal ease. The idea for this car was conceived to organize an off-road single-make championship and operate a sand racing track in Dubai.
Everything from the design to the actual manufacturing of the chassis and the body as well as the final assembly will be done in the UAE in conjunction with JJSpecial and Zarooq Motors aims to be a sustainable car manufacturer and motorsport provider.
The artist’s impressions are remarkable – let’s hope that they can match the visuals with the finished product and top it up with racing qualifications and off-road capabilities. The car is expected to be revealed to the media anytime this month
