Former Miss Universe and Bollywood superstar Lara Dutta is making waves with launch of her new skincare line at the Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai. The beauty with brains, Lara Dutta, is both a former Miss Universe and Bollywood glamour girl and has been making huge strides in setting up business ventures of her own, proving that she has inherited more than her fair share of brains to go with her drop-dead good looks.

NEW SKINCARE LINENEW SKINCARE LINEDutta was in Dubai for the launch of the Arias skin care line from Scentials Beautycare and Wellness – a line which she was responsible for crafting. Arias is a complete skincare brand catering to the various skincare needs of women. The brand is a result of the rich repertoire of experience Dutta has gained as a top-rated actress, model, mother and entrepreneur.

Speaking about the reason behind launching Arias, Dutta said: “Since my pageant days, I have been keenly following the trends of skin care that has shaped up the general attitude of women towards their own skin. Through Arias, I aspire to bring women closer to their own skin, prioritizing its care and embracing its true beauty. With Arias, I wish to drive the cause of beauty at its very essence. I hope Arias will inspire women to focus on their skin care, and celebrate their inherent beauty.”

Lara Dutta was born on April 16, 1978 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dutta won the Femina Miss India Universe and Miss Universe title in 2000. She subsequently began her acting career with her Hindi debut in 2003 with the film Andaaz which was a box office success and won her a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.

She then appeared in a number of films, prominent among these included Masti (2004), Kaal (2005), No Entry (2005) and Partner (2007). In 2006, she starred in the comedy, Bhagam Bhag which did well at the box office. Dutta’s first release of 2007 was Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. She received mixed reviews for her performance in the film. Her next release, Partner opened to a good response and became a hit.

The 24th and largest-ever edition of Beautyworld Middle East, opened doors for three days of hectic networking at the Dubai International Conference and Exhibition Centre. Easily the most influential and visited trade event for beauty and wellness in the wider region, Beautyworld Middle East 2019 features 1,790 exhibitors from 66 countries, taking up a whopping 61,000 M2 of the region’s largest exhibition venue.
